The meeting in Skærbæk was barely over when the next event took place already: The Lego Fanwelt in Cologne, located in the fair halls (hall 11.1) in cooperation with three other exhibitions: the Modellbahn (model railway) fair, the Echtdampf (pure steam) fair and the creative fair Mein Steckenpferd (my hobby horse). Consisting of set-up, four days of visitors and dismounting the models, this event did not provide a very high recovery factor, but was still wonderful. The organizing team (Modellbau Fans Rheinland (Rhineland Model Construction Fans)) had done a great job and it lacked nothing. Visitors surged in the whole time and comments of children and adult visitors are the biggest praise an exhibitor presenting his own models can receive.
Regularly, we had nice evening parties in the old town of Cologne and in addition to the mandatory AFOLs evening on Friday, there was a special highlight on Saturday evening: night shopping in the Cologne Lego Store.
The photos come from me and also from Franky (Frank Deuter), Brickhead (Caspar Bennedsen), Marsipulami (Tanja Kusserow-Kurth), Sandman (Robert Griebl) and Misch (Daniel Dax). Thank you very much!
Steffen Troeger and Sandra Abele from www.golego.de have filmed a video at my fair stand. But just look:
